Part of our Researching Heptonstall group, we’re offering an opportunity to learn archiving skills with a visit to the West Yorkshire Archive Service in Halifax.

• What the archives service team do
• An overview of the collections held – with specific reference to Heptonstall
• What resources there are to help people identify archival records relevant to their research, inc tips on how to get the most out of our online catalogue
• Making an appointment and what to expect when visiting the archive
• Copyright and making copies of documents.
