Poetry & Flowers – Workshop with Sally Baker

We’re joined by Sally Baker, an established poet will offer her skills and lead a small group in this wonderful poetry workshop.

Poets have written about flowers, plants and the natural world for centuries. In this workshop, we will explore some of the ways in which flowers are used as subject matter, looking at poems by Sylvia Plath and others. This will provide inspiration to produce new poems on the theme.

This is a practical poetry writing session with some reading and discussion. Please bring writing materials.

Note: Workshops require a minimum of 8 for us to run. We will confirm to all participants as early as possible once confirmed numbers are reached.
