Event marking Heritage Open Days commemorating the former home of Ethel Carnie Holdsworth, organised with Calder Civic Trust and the owners of the cottage at Slack Top. A short screening, exhibition at Heptonstall Museum will be followed by a walk and a blue plaque unveiled.
A chance to see Nick Wilding's film, 'Sacred Place' which features places of significance to the poetry of Ted Hughes and then join him and Ruth Crossley on a walk around Heptonstall to immerse yourself and experience first hand the beauty of the area.
