Join Jodie Hollander to Heptonstall Museum for a further opportunity to enjoy one of her popular poetry workshops. This year Jodie is visiting as part of her poet-in-residence stay at 1 Aspinall Street, the former childhood home of Ted Hughes.

With poets Sarah Corbett, Michael Crowley, Jodie Hollander, Ed Reiss, Michael Stewart and Charlotte Whetton and a discussion with American poet Jodie Hollander about her residency at The Elmet Trust and new work responding to the Hughesian landscape.

An evening to mark the birthday of Sylvia Plath, poet and writer with poetry from Ian Humphreys, Sally Baker and Clare Shaw. Sylvia Plath is buried in the adjacent graveyard in Heptonstall and many visitors come from all over the world to see the beautiful countryside that inspired many of Sylvia’s works.
